When exporting multiple audio files from label names, Audacity goes through the list of all the labels and exports the sound file to the destination directory. During this process there is no visibility where is audacity in the export process. The user is left with the option to refresh the destination folder to see how many files have been exported.
Can you please consider enhancing the export dialog to display overall progress of the audio export and provide a message such as “Exporting File X of Y”. Any visual clue that would let the user know where is audacity in the export process would work.
In my specific use case I have a large recording with 100+ segments that have been labeled. When exporting the audio to different mp3s based on the label names, I have no visibility how many have been done or how many are left until audacity finishes the exporting process.
Thanks for considering this feature. Audacity is a swiss army knife for sound processing. Great work development team.
