Jademan is on Windows so could not help me. I am on Ubuntu 24.04, using Audacity 3.4.2. The named macros are not in the list. Was that removed? Can I find it somewhere else now? It would be very useful to have a shortcut key for macros.

Setting shortcuts on Linux is the same as on Windows. It is easiest to use the “Search” (entering the name, or part of the name of the macro): Shortcuts Preferences - Audacity Manual
Macros are listed as “Apply Macro - macro_name”, rather than as “macro_name”.

Thanks! Weird, couldn’t find it by searching for the name, but looking at the Tree view, it was there. Thanks!
They can be a bit difficult to spot until you know that all of the macros begin with “App…”, but it avoids name collisions with built-in commands and effects.
