Setting up Audacity for UMC1820 Interface

Hi, I’m Shah from Kuala Lumpur, just bought UMC1820 interface to record drum but fail to do it due to track option. Im using 2.3.1 version on windows 7 with 8gb RAM 64bt. 1 have 8 channel interface and only can select in audacity for 2 channel at a time eg. channel 1-2/3-4/5-6/7-8/. Why i cannot select 1-8 channel all at once so i can record multiple drum miking.

There is some information [u]here[/u] but what I’ve seen here on the forum not too many people are successfully multi-track recording with Audacity.

You’ll probably want to use a full-[u]DAW[/u]. [u]Cakewalk[/u] is now free.
