Whats the process to send both the AUP file and data file together

Audacity projects do not come as “one thing.” That’s a product request. Send the AUP file and then send the _DATA folder. They’ll both play as long as you have the right Audacity or more modern one, and the AUP file and _DATA folder are in the same location or folder.

I guess you could create one ZIP archive and send that. MyComplexProject.zip. I don’t know how convenient that is on Windows. And remember, Windows is going to hide the dot-zip in the filename unless you told Windows not to.
