Is there a was to have the batch process, Chains, pause in the processing of each clip in the batch list so i can make some edits of the clip by hand and then have it resume the next step in the chain/batch processing?
No, but you could run one chain with some effects, then reload the files and do your manual editing, then run a second Chain with the rest of the automated stuff.
