selecting a portion of audio

This recording has a lot of tracks, like 45 or 50, more than will fit on my monitor, even with the “vertical” command.
I’m finished mixing and want to delete the count down.
But i cannot seem to select all tracks from 00 to the end of the count down.
Help!

Also, after adding a group of new tracks, they do not appear on the mixing board until i close and re-open Audacity. Is there a better way?

Do you mean that you want to delete the first few seconds in all tracks?

If so:

  1. Select the part to be deleted in one track
  2. “Select menu > Tracks > In All Tracks (Shift + Ctrl + K)”
  3. “Del” key
