Debian package repository has a package called smplayer. The program smplayer installed from this package has an extraordinary feature: even when an audio playing is speeded up human voices or musical instruments don’t lose their tonal profiles and identities. It appears to be from the same originator from which the sound profile is created. Same humans or Same instruments. The only difference being that the individuals or instruments appear to emanate a faster tempo without losing the tonal profile and identity.
Does any Audacity filter have this feature?
How is this possible?
What is the algorithm used to bring about this feature?
Would be looking forward to inputs, and I am thanking Mr. Trabor and Mr. Steve in anticipation.
