Scripts/Shortcuts/Quick Actions in Mac Ventura

Longtime fan of Audacity. This is my first post here.

I’m on a Mac. Back in Mojave, I was able to use Automator/Keyboard Shortcuts to easily run scripts in Audacity to do a few steps in a single keyboard combo. For example, type a shortcut that would add a marker to a selection and then run Amplify.

But now I’m in Ventura and whatever I’ve created in Automator–and then add to my Keyboard Shortcuts Services–won’t work.

I know, I know: this is more of a Mac issue than an Audacity issue. But my inability to find satisfactory answers via Mac forums, YouTube, etc, has brought me here, in case anyone else has had a similar problem and found a solution.

I’ll keep looking for an answer and if I find one, I’ll post it here, so it may help others. But if anyone can offer insight, I’d be most grateful. I just want to run a simple script to 1. add markers and 2. Amplify. I did it ENDLESSLY when I was running Mojave, so I don’t think I’m asking for much.
