I’ve been using Audacity for 5 years and, over time, from one version to another, it takes longer and longer to save a project. It now takes over 20 minutes to save a project and over 5 minutes to open any older project. It also freezes during use. Basically, the program runs very slowly and I don’t know what to do. I reinstalled it and still the same. Do I need to clear a cache somewhere or what should I do, please? The first versions worked perfectly, but for about 2 years it has been running more and more slowly. Same crash on exit. Every time. No exception:(
