RMS Normalize

A hello here to the forum.
I’m using Audacity 3.1.3. I can’t find the “rms Normalize” under the effects. Can you tell me if the name has been changed or where I can activate the plugin?
Thanks in advance, Hermann

Deepl translated.

RMS is an option in the Loudness Normalization effect.

Please see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/loudness_normalization.html

It is disabled by default (because RMS normalization is available in the Loudness Normalization effect).

The main reason that “rms Normalize” is still shipped with Audacity is because it is the only example of how Audacity users may add translations to Nyquist plug-ins.

If you wish to enable “rms Normalize”, do so from the Plug-in manager (See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/manage_effects_generators_and_analyzers.html)
Otherwise, just use the “Loudness Normalization” effect (See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/loudness_normalization.html)
