Restoring corrupted AUP files??

I’ve been working on this song for a few days now and after my last session today, I saved and closed the project.
When I opened it back up, minutes later, Audacity didn’t recognize the file.
The project file and _data folder haven’t been moved from their original locations.
Is there any possible way for me to recover this project? Maybe using the _data folder?

Windows 10, Audacity 2.0.6

Any help is appreciated.

Open the AUP file in a text editor (just to look, don’t save anything). Is it blank?

2.0.6 is very old now. I recommend you upgrade to the latest 2.1.2 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows regardless of your current problem.
