I state that my laptop has manifested by delayed sound when I connect my electric guitar to the input jacks.
the problem initially appeared with a microphone inside the laptop, but in the long run is also presented thus recording.
I tried to edit and reimostare settings from the control panel and I even reinstalled Audacity more than once but with no results as well as the delay and persists

“Transport menu > Software Playthrough” should be off (not selected).
Software Playthrough will always produce a delayed “echo” of the input signal.
