One tiny detail: You should rename ‘Reset Preferences’ to something more definitive, as this could mean ‘Reset (as in reinstate) our previously selected preferences’…or ‘Reset to default’, …the latter of which is what is most likely meant. I just occurred to me that it could mean either.
Even “Reset to default” could be seen to be a bit ambiguous - “my defaults” or “factory defaults”.
To be even more precise, resetting to defaults actually means “delete and recreate the audacity.cfg file”.
The “audacity.cfg” file is where Audacity Preferences are stored.
