Replacing audios in audacity

Hi,
I’m kinda new to Audacity and was working on a project where I made the whole audio editing for a cinematic.
But now the problem is, the dialogues played in the audio file are placeholders, meaning they are just text to speech audios.
I did the whole editing, clipping, trimming, and adding effects to those audios.
But now I want to replace those placeholder audios with a new one.
How do I replace them without having to redo the whole editing.

How do I replace them without having to redo the whole editing.

I’m not sure what you are asking…

You can create a 2nd dialog track, time-align the dialog, and silence the parts of the original track that you no longer want, then mix. If there is music or sound effects that you don’t want silenced, yes, you’ll have to re-create or re-edit “the whole thing”.
