I just downloaded the 2.0.1 updated and when I rendered the file, the remaining time is going higher than normal. For example, an usual 1 hour show took 15-20 minutes to render on the previous version. Now, the current version is showing 101 hours for the same format, and it keeps counting up.
Is there something wrong on my end that I need to look at?

That’s an old version.
Get the current 2.1.1 version from here: Audacity ® | Free, open source, cross-platform audio software for multi-track recording and editing.
I’d also suggest that as you probably didn’t get the 2.0.1 version from us, that you uninstall the 2.0.1 version first and run an in-depth virus and malware check on your computer.

You didn’t say what that format is, but I’d guess the problem is related to FFMPEG (or other encoder) rather than Audacity itself. Have you tried exporting to WAV?
After re-installing the current version of Audacity, download and install the current version of FFMPEG (assuming you are using FFMPEG).
and it keeps counting up.
