Okay so I know you can drag and select a section of a song and generate silence in that gap, which is great for removing explicit language from the song. However, what if you wanted to cut out a section of vocals, but keep the instrumental going in the background? Is there a way to separate vocals from everything else and remove a section of JUST vocals, keeping everything else going?

It’s not always easy and it won’t work for some vocals.
You can try the Vocal Reduction and Isolation effect if you like:

There’s no documentation yet but the basic functionality should be clear.
