Removing background music from movie soundtrack?

Is there some way I can use Audacity to strip out the background music from a movie soundtrack - preserving dialog and other on-screen sound?

I know this is the opposite of the way most people would use it, but it’s what I need to do. If Audacity can’t do this, is there anything that can?
