I have an audio file with a female speaking in English with a male translation being spoken over the top in German. How would I go about removing the German voice completely? It’s quite faint already, but does overlap.

It’s the overlapping that causes problems. Audacity is not good at splitting a show apart into individual voices, instruments or sounds. Can we assume no damage to the woman’s voice? Is there music? Many of the fancy tools are also going to silence the room noises erratically giving a pumping effect to the woman’s voice.
Let’s see if the other elves have any ideas.
