I have an issue. Where I have an audio file that I need to extract one voice over the other voice. Is there a certain way of doing this? If so can you please help?!

No, not really. Audacity can’t split apart voices, instruments or sounds from a mixed performance. Once everything is smooched into one sound file, that’s the end.
Is one voice a lot louder than the other? Is this a Skype podcast? Sometimes we can use one of the production filters to make them closer to each other, but we still can’t split them apart.

It’s more of a person speaking and another person speaking over them and making it hard to hear the person you need to hear what they are saying. I figured to at least give it a shot and ask! Thanks for your help!
