Running version 3.1.3 I am a new user with limited knowledge of windows 10. I have loaded my project from audacity folder several times without a problem now when I download it I get a message saying hpc meeting 3 02 22 open in another window. But I can’t find another window. Can you help?
I suppose you could run Task Manager (right-click on the Windows task bar), then look for Audacity running in Apps or Background Processes, then end the task there. Or reboot the computer - you might want to reboot anyway, as I think Microsoft is pushing another update just now. 
Don’t get in the habit of doing this as Audacity may take several moments to compact each time you close a project.
