Hello all,
I am new to Audacity. I have been using Scarlet Focusrite 2i2 with a condensation mic for overdubbing on karaoke tracks. When I started, I was able to set the latency compensation to around -156 ms and was able to record fine. However, since the last couple of weeks, the latency has resurfaced. I have also tried recording/ overdubbing on the tracks that I have previously recorded fine. Another thing I am noticing since then is when I record a Stereo track (using 1 input on the 2i2), it is recording both the channels. Previously, it used to record only one channel (which was fine). I am guessing I have inadvertently changed some setting that I am unable to figure out.
I have tried the following:
- Tried to reset the latency compensation beyond the original working setting.
- Reconnected Focusrite and other hardware.
- Uninstall and Reinstall Audacity to the latest version.
- Reset the latency compensation to the previously working setup.
Thanks for reading. Any help in identifying the cause of the problem and/ or a solution is appreciated.
