I’ve been recording with Audacity 2.3.3 in Windows 8.1 with an external audio interface, and exporting my file on a USB flash drive for over a month with no problems, until this week. I upgraded my computer from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, assuming that it would be compatible. I can click on playback which works fine, but when I try to record any instrument or microphone, Audacity will not recognize it.I love this version 2.3.3, I can easily do what I would like to do with it, but trying to fix an issue is not easy for me. There must be a solution for this problem but I just can’t seem to find it. NOTE: recording a new file from Windows 10 works fine, it’s just when I try to record on my existing file from my USB Flash Drive that it will not record. Your input on this issue would be much appreciated.
Thank-you!
Nathan

Microphone activated, still not working.
Recording with my flash drive, which was recorded on Windows 8.1, still won’t record on Windows 10.
Thank-you.
