Foe some unknown reason I can’t record what hear on the computer any more. Before I could. I haven’t changed anything. Also I notice the ‘‘Skip to start’’ is not working. Before I could press record and Audacity would record what ever I was listening too. Would a ''bug have crept in? I’m using Windows 7.
You have to select the correct Recording Device. If you have Windows 7 or newer, WASAPI - Loopback usually works. See [u]this page[/u].
Hi DVDdoug (Doug) - you are quite right - well done - thanks very much. The Recording Device was set on MME. Because I hadn’t changed anything I assumed MME was correct. I don’t know how all this came about but I am 100% sure that I had not altered any of the settings from the last time I used Audacity. Any way it’s all working now - thanks again.
