Recording works, but no sound when I play.

I’m using windows 10 and I plugged in my bass guitar to my PC with a usb cable. I can record with the bass in Audacity. When I press record and then play it up I can here what I played. Howewer there is no sound coming out of my speakers/headpohnes as im playing.
