I have a recording, but when I click on the Play button, nothing happens. This is not an issue of no sound. Rather, the issue is that the recorded file does not begin to roll.
It looks like Audacity is waiting for you to respond to a dialog prompt. Check that there is not a dialog window open (perhaps hidden behind another window).
Also, your recording is way too high and will be distorted (clipped).
