I have downloaded the latest version of Audacity and cannot figure out how to open a monaural music track and then record voice cues on 2nd mono track as the music is playing. Using the “R” (record) adds the recording to the end of the music track and not to a second monaural track. Using the older version before upgrading worked seamlessly and now I can no longer get this to work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help you can offer.
