Recording via USB on a sound board on a wireless mic

Hi Everyone …

So I am using trying to record a speaker on a wireless mic through a sound board. The sound board is set up to be on channel 2 and output is on aux 5&6 … so it is all set that way. Then then the USB goes into the computer.

My question is how does the internal microphone affect this? The last recording had a lot of echoing on it. How do I stop that? Do I lower the sound of the microphone or have overdub or software playthough off?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks …

Ensure that the recording input in the device toolbar is set to the USB mixer. The computer’s internal microphone will then be ignored.

Note that lapel mics and desktop mics can be quite prone to picking up room echo. Headset mics tend to pick up echo far less.
