Recording USB Turntable Pause goes on and off [SOLVED]

Audacity Version 2.1.2

Recording from a USB Turntable is working but the Pause button keeps flicking on and off during the recording. How can I stop it?

Look near the bottom of the Transport menu and ensure that “Sound Activated Recording” is off (not selected).

Worked! Obvious when you know but if you’re like me the obvious often escapes you!
