I’ve just upgraded from 2.x to the latest 3.x version on Windows 11 64bit
I am used to adding a track and recording into that track. Now when I add a mono track and hit record, a stereo track is added and I am recording into that (not the one I added). Is there a setting for me to have better control of my tracks? Please advise.
Yes. Click on the “Audio Setup” button, then from “Recording Channels” select the number of channels that you want to record.
No real need to add the track first. Just click in an empty part of the track window so that no tracks are selected, then click the record button and a new track will be added automatically.
