Recording stops automatically after 4 seconds of silence

Hi all, I’m recording and there is a silence of 6 seconds that I want to record, but there is also a silence of 1 minute that I do not want to record. Currently the recording function in Audacity stops automatically after about 4 seconds. I’d like to change this to 30 seconds. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you!

Currently the recording function in Audacity stops automatically after about 4 seconds.

Perhaps you have inadvertently selected Transport > Transport Options > Sound Activated Recording

I’d like to change this to 30 seconds. Does anyone know how to do this?

You could specify a 30 second recording in Transport > Recording > Timer Record
