recording stopped

I am using a super USB cassette player to record old cassettes into my Mac. All was fine until about 5 minutes in when all of a sudden the recording stopped. Player still going just no recording happening .


We see a lot of problems with these cheap Chinese devices.

Try this:

  1. Stop the recording.
  2. Unplug the USB cassette player.
  3. Plug the USB cassette player back in.
  4. In the “Transport” menu (near the bottom), click on “Rescan Audio Devices”.
  5. Wait a moment for the scan to complete
  6. See if the USB device is listed as an available recording device in the “Device Toolbar” (see:
