Recording on wrong track (Since 2018)

I have multiple tracks.

Normal behavior:
I click somewhere in one track. I hit record. Recording appears at the selected spot at highlighted track.

Bug:
I click somewhere in one track. I hit record. Recording appears WAY ELSEWHERE and overwrites other recordings.

Solution:
It’s been years. Fix it.

Platform:
Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma 6.12.21-4-MANJARO
Tested Repo version, AppImage, Flatpak
