recording my mic similar to 25fps

so I am thinking of making some videos with my camera but it records at 25fps while at the moment audacity records my mic at a pace similar to a 30fps video, would it be possible to change it so it records it at a pace similar to a 25fps video?

I’m using windows 10 and Audacity v2.1.2

You can try changing Audacity sample rate to 48000 from 44100 in Preferences > Quality. 48000 is the digital video sample rate for both NTSC and PAL video.

I would expect the video editor to automatically know about the speed changes. What are you using for a video editor?

I use Blender and I already have it set at 48000 for the sample rate

No, I mean tell Audacity to create sound files at 48000. Audacity defaults to 44100.

I do have Audacity set to 48000

I’m not sure what you mean by that… 30 seconds of video at 25 FPS is 30 seconds. 30 Seconds of video at 30 FPS is 30 Seconds. 30 seconds of audio is 30 seconds, no matter what the sample rate.

Now… If you change 27.97 FPS NTSC to 25F PS PAL there is usually a 4% speed increase but if the original audio & video match the converted audio & video should match.
