The levels of my recordings rise and fall throughout the recording. Does anyone have an idea why this occurs and possibly how to fix it or offer a suggestion on a setting? It’s not extreme or noticeable when looking at the track recording in the interface, but I can hear it.
You need to get us closer than that. What are you recording, from where, and with what?
Windows is fraught with automatic sound tools and effects and every audio application you have can add more.

It’s significant when your recording and the monitor sound don’t seem to match. It’s totally possible to have Windows effects only on the playback or monitor side and not affect the recorded show at all.
This is where you make a nice WAV file of your seemingly damaged work, play it somewhere else, and see if it’s still broken.
