recording in stereo from digital radio

OK, I have just downloaded the latest version 2.1.2 for Mac.

Scenario: I have my radio playing (stereo) via a web address (live streaming).

When I open Audacity and click record it is only coming through in one channel, i.e. in mono. I have opened a new ‘project’ with two channels added, then I click the red record button. Still coming in in mono … help!!

You are probably recording the sound picked up by your Mac’s internal microphone.
