I want to record directly into my pc. Audacity would be ok but is there a program to go straight to a notation recording like midi does for keys…I have a similar cable as the midi one with a 1/4" jack and a converter on the cable from Artaccessories. S what program can it be used for?
There are MIDI guitar pickup / synth systems that can produce MIDI data from a guitar: BOSS - GP-10 | Guitar Processor
Also, if you restrict your playing to one note at a time, you could use a program such as AudioScore Lite Sibelius - the leading music composition and notation software (part of the Sibelius notation package, but it’s not cheap).
