recording from ambiloop

using audacity 2.0.2 on windows xp. i am wanting to record from live looping on ambiloop 1.73. in other words, to preserve the entire sequence of layering and decay. sort of like early fripp or eno loops. the ambiloop only preserves the most recent version of the loop. if i try to run off the live mic, the volume quickly builds into feedback. is there a way for audacity to record from the ambiloop data itself?

thanks.

I think that you need this “Recording audio playing on the computer” information: Recording audio playing on the computer
It’s easier to do on some computers than others, so there are several different methods described. Use the one that works best for you.

thanks, i will try that and if i encounter any issues or learn anything that might be of interest to others i will post back.
