Recording DJM 2000/ HP Laptop

HI

I have recently purchased a HP Laptop with no line in/microphone port; I have an rca cable (red/white) coming from the record out of the djm 2000 into the headphone socket of the laptop, what sound set up in audacity do i need to record my mixes.

If you need to get stereo connection into your computer and there is no easy way to do it, I found a Behringer UCA202 works.

That’s also one of the hardware devices we certified to do perfect sound-on-sound overdubbing should you want to do that.

Sound generally comes out of the headphone socket. Some computers can be switched to do different jobs, but that’s not normal.
