I have Windows 10 and just downloaded Audacity 2.4.1. I’m trying to use this with my Rybozen USB Cassette Capture device. This device came with Audio Lava software, but it splits my recordings into multiple tracks which I do not want. Somebody suggested I try Audacity. But in the menu (shown in screenshot) it says no devices found.
Plug-in the USB device before starting Audacity.
If Windows sees it, Audacity should also see it. Right-click on the Windows speaker/volume icon, then Open Sound Settings and check to see if it shows-up (It may say “USB Audio CODEC”, but it should say “USB… something”) and make sure it’s enabled.
If Windows can’t find it, it may be defective or you might have a bad USB cable or a bad USB port on your computer…
