I’ve looked up and down and found nothing, so I’m finally posting this. I’ve been trying to record saxophone tracks for something I’m writing and I have to play long tones for upwards of 5 seconds. Starting the recording is fine, my audio looks normal everything is great, but after a few seconds, audacity believes that my playing is “background noise” and tries to cut it out by cutting down the volume of my recording. If anone knows what to do here please help, thank you!
Turn off Windows “enhancements”.
…It’s not Audacity. It’s Windows “trying to help”.
What should I do if there isn’t an “enhancements” tab for the device?
