hi
i need to review…when u record a cassette tape to your computer with audicity how should you use the mike slider?these r pre recorded non commercial material on these
cassettes so i cant edit them nor do i want to…how do u set the mike slider to get the best sound quaility? thanks
The web page doesn’t go into the common problems people have doing this. Are you on a Windows Laptop? Then you may be out of luck. Most Windows laptops have a delicate, sensitive, mono microphone input. The cassette machine music is powerful, high level, stereo. So right away, either left or right music will be missing and the one that’s left may be horribly distorted.
So you need to tell us a little more about your system.
i have a dell demension 1100 desktop on firefox web browser…im using an onkyo tape deck thats connected to my computer thought turtle beach exterior sound card…
