recording broken into equal little files

I am trying to use a recording that was made with audacity. I am using Windows 7 with Audacity 2.0 installed via the .exe. The recording has been broken into exactly 1.01MB files with bizare file names. The biggest problem is that the files AREN’T in order. Sometimes they are blank other times they end midway through a word.

Is there an automatic or logical way to put all the files back into order and use it as one big file?

You saved an .aup Audacity project. Open the .aup file to open the project. The easiest way to do that is use File > Recent Files.

Thanks so much for the reply. I was able to open the proper file. The reason it didn’t work was because it wasn’t created on my computer and I copied the two files over to my computer. But the job is done now with your help.
