Recording a Cassette Tape

When recording a cassette tape, Audacity stops recording when it hears no sound, like between tracks, therefore there is no gap between songs. This can be solved by adding silence between the songs but is very time consuming. Is there a way to set Audacity to record continuously even when there is no sound so that a gap is created between songs while recording.

Turn off “Sound Activated Recording” in the Transport menu. (it is off by default)
