Really high pitch on a recording

I recorded through sound card the audio. I had used the same soundcard in a studio so I bought myself one and had this issue. How can I remove the high pitched whistle?

Notch 6610Hz, either with a notch filter, or spectral editing.

FYI - If this is a USB soundcard/audio interface that’s also powered via USB, the noise usually comes from the USB power and it’s getting into the analog electronics.

It’s a common problem… USB power is notoriously noisy. Digital is highly-immune to noise, but analog is not. It depends on how well the USB power in your computer is filtered and how well the interface filters it. You computer probably has noisier power than theirs.

A powered USB hub will probably help. Or you odds are better with an interface that has its own power supply.
