Back when I had Windows, I could use CD Wave, which had among its transport controls a “>|”-type button which allowed quickly scanning a whole audio file to make sure all the split point labels had been properly placed, before going ahead and saving the results of the split operation. Does Audacity have a way of doing this? I just “Silence Finder”-ed a file into 21 labels and find myself wishing I had a quick way of checking them by ear. Thanks.
Click in or DOWN arrow into the label Track then TAB into the next label or SHIFT + TAB into the previous label.
When you have tabbed into the label, press the Play button, or using the keyboard, UP arrow then SPACE. DOWN arrow to continue using TAB.
