question from a noob about exporting track to CD

Hello,
I was hoping a good samaritan could point me in the right direction. I want to use Audacity at our church to record the services. I don’t need multi-track recordings or anything fancy…I’m using the main out from the mixer as my sole in put. People rarely request a CD copy of the service, but if they do I need to be able to give it to them.

What I want to do is:
a) record the whole service so that it can be backed up
b) during the live recording, set markers to indicate separate tracks that would be on the CD (i.e. track one is the choir special, track 2 a solo, track 3 the sermon)
c) be able to use those markers to export the audio between the markers to wav so that it can be played in a CD player, and to not export the stuff outside of those markers

Obviously part a is straightforward, and I found a link on the wiki about doing part c, although it’s a little unclear. Can someone point me to a tutorial on part b, or the b->c transition?

Thanks for the help

This set of tutorials from the Audacity manual covers what you need: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_copying_tapes_lps_or_minidiscs_to_cd.html

although primarily targeted at tape/LP conversion most of it covers what you need.
