I have a Linux server I connect with over VNC. I have local computer with a pulse server running. I have PULSER_SERVER set properly. I can playback sound from Firefox for example, but not from PulseAudio. I just get an error that no device is found. If I look at the device list, there are no devices found. Is it possible to use Audacity in this sort of setup? I don’t need microphone support, just playback.
I’ve not tried doing it that way, but I have had success using PulseAudio with RTP. Maybe give that a go.
