Hello, I am trying to complete a school assignment that requires to use this program. It was working for a while and now it will not open anymore. I really need to figure out what’s going on ASAP so I can complete my schoolwork. Attached is a screenshot of what happens every time I try to open the program. Thanks 😃

Your system has Waves plugins installed, which Audacity has problems with. Either remove those plugins, or follow the instruction on this page
[http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/User:BillWharrie/Resetting\_Preferences\_on\_Mac](http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/User:BillWharrie/Resetting_Preferences_on_Mac)
to disable VST and Audio Unit plugins.
