I am using Audacity 2.1.1 on my XP…and over the last two upgrades of Audacity, I have noticed the when I go to use some of the mda VST’s that the window is different and also the sliders move but the values do not change, like in the last previous versions on these VST effects. RoundPan, Phaser, are just a few that I am having problems with. It would be nice to be able to “adjust” the effect, instead of having them be in a “fixed” effect, even though the sliders move. Let me know what to do to get these VST’s to adjust using their sliders. Thank you.

Sorry it is a known problem caused by the change to real-time preview for VST effects introduced in Audacity 2.1.0.
We do have a fix for this in our development code. You can try it out in the latest “nightly build” at the top of http://gaclrecords.org.uk/win-nightly/. Nightly builds may have other bugs, so alternatively you could go back to 2.0.6 until the next 2.1.2 version is released which is expected to be late September or early October.

Thanks Gale for the heads up. I do have version 2.0.6, but since it will be released later this fall ( vers.2.1.2), I’ll just wait for the release with the included fix. Thanks for the quick reply!
