I recently recorded a new session without trouble like normally. However, when I attempted to save like always, it would not save and simply moved to the next folder or just stayed still. I have never had this issue before today so I am not sure what I did wrong. Please answer this.

Did you really mean Export and not Save?
Did you put dates or any other punctuations marks inside the filename? That will confuse the operating system and it may not know where to put your work. It’s pretty common to try and slide a date inside a filename – MySong-12/29/12.wav. That filename is not likely to work right.
